Product Designer

Onsite, Calabasas - Direct Hire - $65k-$75k

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration & Solution Development: Partner with Product Management and Engineering to define and implement solutions that align with the product direction, visuals, and user experiences across the TicketManager platform.

  • End-to-End Visual Design: Lead all visual design stages, from concept creation to the final hand-off to engineering, ensuring high-quality design implementation.

  • Cross-Functional Engagement: Work with customers, engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand product pain points and brainstorm innovative solutions to improve the platform.

  • Design Innovation: Conceptualize original ideas that simplify complex design challenges and deliver intuitive user experiences.

  • Prototyping & Documentation: Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, animations, process flows, and site maps to clearly communicate design concepts and interactions.

  • User Research & Feedback: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and evaluate insights to refine and optimize the product design.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Present and defend key design deliverables to peers, stakeholders, and executives, ensuring alignment and support.

  • Design Standards & Guidelines: Establish and promote design best practices, guidelines, and standards to ensure consistency across the platform.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.

  • Professional Experience: 1-3+ years of work experience in a collaborative, data-driven design environment.

  • Design Tools Proficiency: Skilled in design and prototyping using Figma. Familiarity with Adobe Suite and other design/wireframing tools is a plus but not required.

  • Front-End Development (Optional): Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) is a plus but not required.

  • Curiosity & Data-Driven: Highly curious, data-driven, and passionate about solving design challenges through insights and creativity.

  • Mobile-First Design: Experience with responsive design, particularly in mobile-first environments.

  • UI Design Expertise: Proven UI design skills, backed by a strong portfolio showcasing your design work.

  • Wireframing & Prototyping: Experience creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate design concepts.

  • Agile/Scrum Experience: Familiarity with working in an agile/scrum development environment.

  • SaaS/Product Experience (Preferred): Experience with SaaS and internet-based products and services is strongly preferred.

  • Design Trends & Technologies: Passionate about staying up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.

  • Communication & Organizational Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Self-Starter: Self-motivated, takes ownership, and thrives in an entrepreneurial, autonomous environment.
